Letter from the Editor

Coffee, Letter, and Pink Roses

February 25, 2019

Dear Readers,

Wow! What an amazing weekend it was! I hope you came away from Sister Triangle Ladies’ Retreat feeling renewed and courageous.

After an amazing weekend together, I want to take a moment to say it is my pleasure and joy to welcome you to Sister Triangle Magazine. 2018 was a year of challenge, transition, and renewal for us here behind the scenes of Sister Triangle. From shifts in staff roles and new faces joining our team to meaningful conversations about who we are and how we serve others; Sister Triangle Magazine is looking forward to an exciting 2019, featuring more of your powerful voices while fostering a deeper connection with our readers.

From the beginning of this magazine, our team has been committed to bringing you, our Sisters, messages of hope, love, and encouragement. Over the past decades, we have transitioned from print to digital media, grown in size and capacity, and have shared your voices and stories with many women from around the world. As a magazine, we feel strongly about honouring our roots while seeking opportunities for continued growth in our organization. We trust that by sharing authentic stories, asking difficult questions, and following the footsteps of Jesus that this new year will be our best year yet.

We’re excited to introduce a new format for our article submissions. In 2019, we will be placing four “Calls for Submission” on the themes of Courage Daughter, Beginnings, Anticipation, and Reconciliation. With this new format, our goal is to deliver an encouraging message to your inbox with more frequency and consistency. We invite anyone interested in writing for Sister Triangle Magazine to contact me or any of our fantastic editorial staff for more details. You can also learn more about writing with Sister Triangle HERE.

Sister Triangle is near and dear to my heart. As a girl, I witnessed the joy Sister Triangle brought my grandmother. I am incredibly honoured to be serving in this role and would like to thank you for joining us. This space is your space, please make yourself comfortable and enjoy. Your love and support, the grace of God, and our sisterhood is what makes this magazine meaningful. We pray for wisdom, grace, and blessings for you wherever you walk.

Much love,

Hand drawn heart

Victoria Utman
